About Me
I'm Dana.
I was born and raised in Indiana and came to Lafayette in 1999 as a freshman at Purdue University. I’ve stuck around ever since. Creativity has been a part of my life from a young age; I spent countless hours drawing at my grandmother’s small red desk. That desk now sits in my home, waiting for my own grandkids, a cherished reminder of my deep passion for creativity, imagination, and personal growth.
I use my keen eye to make well-performing websites look fantastic—“good enough” just isn’t in my vocabulary. My background in screen printing, large format printing, branding, marketing, trade show design, and freelance design has equipped me well for website design. I enjoy fine arts, cooking, and gardening, and my love for animals and the great outdoors enhances my appreciation for beauty in all its forms.

I graduated from Purdue University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, my major being Visual Communications Design. My minor was photography, once having a B&W piece chosen for a student exhibition.

I have a personal goal to learn Figma, complete my UX Certification (Est. Winter 2024) and start learning animation with Adobe After Effects.
interests
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, learning to forage, working with my hands through gardening and landscaping, and spending time with my husband and two teenage daughters. I have a deep love for all things “analog”: bullet journals, fine tip pens, pencils, sketchbooks.
