PROJECT SCOPE
Staley was seeking a Marketing Agency in Lafayette to help their Credit Union grow as a whole, but especially for their Lafayette locations.
The challenge
We were inheriting projects from a previous agency as well as trying to establish a new, fresh look for the credit union, while working with various board members for approval—especially ones that wanted to remain with the previous agency.
kickoff
Our team met with our liaison at Staley to hear about immediate goals, roll out, establishing a timeline for digital and print ads, billboards, and a website update. This team consisted of our CEO, Ads, Web and Copywriting.
overcome obstacles
Working with a board has its challenges, and partnering with a financial institution added a learning curve with extra security needs and external vendors. We created and shared video discussions, agendas, wireframes, and mockups with the outside vendor, who built the website to our specs while handling all the security requirements.
Fresh & vibrant
Staley was unhappy with the look of their former ads, making their financial institution appear old fashioned and not standing out when surrounded with various other printed ads in local newspapers and magazines. Ads were now created with subtle animations, vibrant colors, and incorporated their branding in a new way by incorporating their trademark copper.
teamwork
Staley was setting their sights on the Teen and Young adult market, standing out against competition with established banks like Chase. All hands on deck made for strong campaigns!

my contribution
When working with Staley, I created the following:
- Wireframes for the website home page. These were handed off to the SCU developer, due to the credit union having different security demands.
- Mega Menu design
- Print ads for the five newspapers in and around Decatur, IL
- Billboard creation, all visible in Lafayette and Decatur, IL
- Business card redesign, introducing copper foil
